A further issue with this: if you install it - as I have - on a Windows Server machine (2008R2 in my case) then it will prevent the machine logging off, shutting down or restarting and you have to hard reset it to get it rebooted. As I mentioned in my previous comment, it's a very old utility. But as it is, it's pretty useless, I'm afraid. Downgrading to one star.
I tried this specifically so I could get alerts from my NexStar NST 272S3.BK but I cannot get email notifications to work, no matter what I try, including all manner of ports, even different SMTP servers. It's a very old utility - 10 years old at the time of writing - so it's probably not surprising. I'd love to hear from anyone who is using something more contemporary. (Or from the authors if they're interested in updating it.)
